Register with Richmond CCRR

To sign up for an account with Richmond Child Care Resource and Referral Centre and access all the listed benefits, please fill in the form below. Once approved, you will receive an email confirming your account. If you do not receive an email within 3 business days please check your spam folder. If you opt-in to the library lending program, please expect a minimum 2-day processing time for your account to be authorised for lending.

Effective April 1, 2026, access to the Richmond Early Years Library will only be granted to those living, working, or studying in the Richmond area.

This change does not affect access to any other CCRR service including workshops and training, job postings, resources, and more. Access for individuals in the immediate surrounding areas may be granted at staff discretion (proof of residency required).

Library Information

Lending Library Agreement:

Use:
Access to the Richmond Early Years Library is available to individuals who live, work, or study in Richmond. Individuals in the immediate surrounding communities may be granted access at staff discretion with proof of residency.

Liability:
The account holder accepts all risks, responsibilities and liabilities that may arise with the use of library materials. All items are to be used as per manufacture guidelines and under adult supervision. Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives and the Richmond Child Care Resource and Referral Centre are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses (including COVID-19), or damage to property that may arise through the use of materials borrowed.

Borrowing Period + Renewals:
Materials are to be returned on time, cleaned, and in good condition. The maximum loan period is 30 days, with the option of a single month renewal. Renewals are granted based on the availability of resources. Full loan policy is available online here.

Lost, Damaged, or Overdue Items:
The account holder agrees to pay for the replacement of damaged or lost materials plus handling charges and administration fees. Borrowing privileges may be suspended until items have been returned or any outstanding invoices are paid in full.

Overdue fines of $0.25 per item per day apply
An administrative charge of $5 will be applied to items lost, damaged, missing pieces, or that require special cleaning upon return.

Checking Kits
Borrowers shall check all contents for completeness, and notify library staff within 2 business days of borrowing if items are missing or damaged. Failure to notify staff within this time frame may result in being held responsible for replacement or any costs incurred.

Borrowers are responsible to ensure materials and resources are age appropriate for their children.

I agree to be responsible for all library materials taken out under this agreement and abide by all the terms set by the agreement. I accept and acknowledge my responsibilities and obligations under the terms of this library agreement, and agree to pay for any lost/damaged items and any fines resulting from late returns.

I choose to opt out of the lending library agreement and receive no library borrowing privileges.
