The Richmond CCRR offers a variety of services to providers from professional development training to borrowing classroom resources and more. If you are currently working in the early years field, studying to become an ECE or even just considering it, we do our best to answer your questions and provide you with appropriate resources.
Even if we don’t know the answer, our qualified staff are former ECEs themselves and are happy to help connect you with our sister organizations. Take a look at the various fields our staff can help you with:

Celebrated & Inspired 2026: Richmond's Child Care Community

In honour of Child Care Month, we're inviting all Richmond Child Care educators, providers, and operators to join us in an evening to celebrate what makes our community great -- YOU. Let us treat you to a social evening with food, refreshments, fabulousness, and fun. Featuring presenter Dr. Deborah MacNamara, attendees will receive a copy of her book and a certificate towards their professional development hours.
Workshop Topic: Nurturing the Natural Roots of Self-Esteem
This year we are excited to offer extended learning opportunities allowing all attendees to earn up to 9 total hours of professional development!
- Part I: Child Care Dinner - May 29th | 6:15pm–9:15pm (2.5hrs)
- Part II: Group Discussion - June 17th | 7:00pm–8:30pm (1.5hrs)
- PLUS: Reading & Discussion Book Club – September 23rd (online), October 14th (online), November 5th (in person!)
