Richmond Early Years Library (REYL)
The REYL will be Closed for Lending:
Friday, December 9th – Wednesday, January 11th for our annual holiday closure and inventory/cleaning.
The last late evening for the season will take place December 7th, with the last date to borrow being Friday, December 9th.
Please note that all items are due for return no later than Monday, December 19th -- even if you borrowed in December. Please be aware that this is an annual process and allows for our staff to take stock, introduce new items, and replace popular and worn-out materials.
Lending Hours Update:
Our library hours have been updated to reflect the busy season and will continue into the new year.
Located on the second floor of the Richmond Caring Place, the Richmond Early Years Library is a unique community resource, with over 1,000 items available to borrow. These include books, activity boxes, and small kits, along with a huge selection of loose parts and natural materials.
The library also serves as a local hub for parents and child care providers, where they can gather, share ideas, and attend in-house library programs and training opportunities.
To access the library, the first step is becoming a CCRR member. After registration you will be able to borrow materials and book the library’s Cricut machine.
Contact us if you have questions about the library or any of its resources.
