Workshops are hosted online via Zoom. A link is sent out to participants approximately 1-2 days before the session, and a reminder email will be sent out 1 hour before the start time. Participants will be admitted to the session at the posted start time. While you do not need to download Zoom to attend, access is easier if you do. Participants must ensure that their device is Zoom-capable before registering for the workshop.

Some of our online workshops utilize the Zoom webinar feature, which allows us to host large-scale training opportunities. Participants attending webinars receive unique links 1-2 days prior to the workshop as well as an automatic reminder email 1 hour before the webinar. These links are unique to each participant and cannot be shared to others.

Participants attending online workshops are required to have their camera on for the duration of the workshop, as well as have a working microphone to participate in class discussions.

For those attending online webinars (Zoom Webinar function), participants are automatically invisible with their camera and mic turned off (attendees can be granted visibility by request during question periods). As a result, participants are expected to participate in workshops through discussions, asking questions, and polls – a lack of participation may result in disqualification for a certificate.

Links are only sent out 1-2 days prior to the session. If you still haven’t received a link day-of the workshop, please follow this procedure below:

1. Check your confirmation email and make sure your email is spelled correctly.
2. Check your junk/spam folder (and your social/promotional folder if applicable).
3. Search in All Folder for “Zoom Link” on your top search bar.

Of course! Everyone is welcome. Please note that workshops are in English, take place in Pacific-Standard Time, and follow the BC early years guidelines; they may not be valid in your country.

Our main office closes at 5pm, but we provide after-hours service on Wednesdays and training days from our library until 8pm. Please call 604-279-7064 for assistance.

No, we do not record our training sessions with the exception of special event presenters. In the event that a special event presenter wishes to record the session for participants to view at a later date, this will be highlighted on the workshop description. Participants would need to prove they watched the workshop by answering a special question before receiving their certificate.

Participants are responsible for their own contact accuracy and ensuring that they follow up with CCRR staff to alert them to issues before the workshop begins. 

The CCRR is not responsible for workshops missed due to incorrectly provided contact information and refunds will not be issued after the fact. Please refer to our Refund + Cancellation Policies.
