SD38 Early Learning Family Events - Featuring Penny Pom Pom
Apr 4, 2023, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Do you have a 3- to 5-year-old preschooler? The Richmond School District is welcoming your family to participate in our Early Learning Family (ELF) events. Four Elementary Schools will host an ELF event to foster early and positive connections with children and their families. Building the home to school connection can help create a gentler transition when your child joins us for kindergarten.
Our ELF events will include engaging and fun learning activities and give your child(ren) an opportunity to meet future faces. It is also a good opportunity for you to ask all your questions or wonders about early learning!
During each event we will also host the Penny Pom Pom show, an exciting experience full of music, storytelling and magic for young kids. Penny is a colourful ball of energy who embodies creative confidence and artistic freedom. Sing and dance along to her catchy and original guitar-driven music about magic, creativity, nature, animals and the seasons. Together, we will all join along in the fun with Penny Pom Pom!
Check the schedule for the date your neighbourhood school is hosting their ELF. We hope to see you there!
