Enjoy a picnic with your family and read together on an interactive story walk. Storywalk promotes early literacy, physical activity, and family time together time in nature. You will read the story page-by-page as you walk down the train in Steveston Community Park. 

Steveston Community Park is a 30 acre hub of activity in the heart of Steveston. It is a destination for families because of its unique and expansive playground and waterpark. The playground is built around a fishing village theme and includes the giant trawler play structure.

Fun craft activities and a fruit snack will be provided, and you are welcome to stay at the park after the picnic is over.

Event Requirements:

- No babies or toddlers at this time

- Maximum 18 children aged 3 to 5 years old, ratio 1:1 child per caregiver

- Please wear your own sunscreen and wear comfortable clothes, hat, and shoes

- Please note there is a water park onsite: dress appropriately

- Please bring your own water bottle, snacks, and picnic items

- No pets allowed!
