www.familiesincanada.caThe University of Victoria’s Centre for Youth and Society is proud to co-host with the Vanier Institute of the Family the Families in Canada Conference 2019. A diverse group of leaders who study, serve and support families, along with those with lived experience, will gather for a day of research, knowledge-sharing, and engaging conversation focused on challenges and opportunities of families in Canada.
Programming includes keynote addresses from Nora Spinks, Chief Executive Officer of the Vanier Institute, and Anil Arora, Chief Statistician at Statistics Canada; and panels on Big Data Through a Family Lens, Family Well-Being Indicators in BC, Family Time Together, Family Formation and Dissolution, and Families New in Canada.
Networking opportunities and poster presentations are also included.
