Richmond Child Care Resource & Referral

Welcome to Billz Beez and Berryz, a local blueberry farm and beehive. On this field trip, children aged 2 to 5 years old can pick pesticide and chemical-free blueberries. Children are invited to explore around the baby chicks, observe the beehives onsite and smell fresh honey.

Please note that attendance is free, but families must pay for their picked blueberries.

Important Information:

- Please arrive on time. 10:30am—Bee show!

- Parent participation is required, maximum 1 adult per child

- No babies, or children above 6 years old at this time

- Bring your own water bottles

- No pets allowed

- The program is outdoors: make sure to wear sunscreen, a hat/cap, and comfortable clothes

- Program capacity: 25 children

Please note that in the event of extreme weather we will reschedule the field trip to another date.
