Richmond Child Care Resource & Referral

Welcome to Billz Beez and Berryz, a local blueberry farm and beehive. On this field trip, children aged 3 to 5 years old can pick pesticide and chemical-free blueberries. Children are invited to explore around the baby chicks, observe the beehives onsite and smell fresh honey.  Finally, we will have a craft for children to make inside the farm. Please note that attendance is free, but families must pay for their picked blueberries.

When?  
10:00am - 12:00pm, July 24th, 2024
11:40am—Bee show! (Please arrive on time)

Important Information:

- Parent participation is required, maximum 1 adult per child

- No babies, toddlers, or children above 6 years old at this time

- The program is outdoors: make sure to wear sunscreen, a hat/cap, and comfortable clothes

- Bring your own water bottles

- No pets allowed - Program capacity: 16 children

Please note that in the event of extreme weather we will reschedule the field trip to another date.
