Behaviour Support Basics for Parents (AutismBC)

Jan 30, 2021, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Join us online for a three-hour introductory workshop for parents who want to learn how to teach their children who are early learners language and play skills. We will cover core topics such as reinforcement, prompting, language strategies, and more.

You will leave the course with practical tools you can use during this time where BI supports are unable to come to your home. This workshop was designed to give basic information to parents and caregivers who are supporting special needs children at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. This workshop is developed for parents, and other individuals who work with or support children on the autism spectrum.

AutismBC Training and Workshops are designed to build supportive, and inclusive communities for people on the autism spectrum.

Topics include:

  • The ABC’s
