Building Resilient Communities Through Movement and Mindfulness (Richmond Caring Place)

May 21, 2019, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Richmond Caring Place - 7000 Minoru Boulevard, Richmond, BC

Grounded in living inquiry and pedagogy this 2-part workshop will introduce the practical skills of bringing tools for mental health and well-being to your early learning community. Learn how to make yoga and mindfulness integrated and accessible to educators and young children alike, through songs, stories, games and sensory experiencing. Rooted in attachment theory and inclusion, participants will be introduced to trauma-informed practice and take away practical skills for self-care to avoid educator burn out.
